Just put in 6.5 Arc FD6000 speakers in the batwing fairing of my FLHX, talk about more bass response vs the 5 1/4. Sounds amazing, had some Zeppelin playing and the amount of air that was being pushed out of the grills.. was like an air conditioner...hah.

The 6.5 Arc FD6000's are 4ohm 175W max, 90RMS

Firecap set me up, I have 2 tweeters to install as well, tho the sound coming from the 6.5s really doesn't need em. Might as well tho as soon as I figure out where to put them. Tho, I have not figured out where to put the 2 crossovers, they are rather large... where to put them in the fairing, anyone have a suggestion on them? Guess I need to wire the crossovers out of phase too.... (2 crossovers are like 4" x 3" boxes ...where the heck do I put em?)

Seems to be the new hottest mod these days! COngrats on the upgrade I love music the more the better! I put my crossovers under that support brace from the speaker to the fairing support and mine was quite large too. Just a sugg. good luck!

 

Put my crossovers in area under speakers,tight but they fit.I have 04 standard put tweeters in unused guage holes by the radio. Am putting 6.5 speakers in this week,hope i like them as well as you do.
