Cornering clearance of Road Glide?
Is the cornering clearance of the Road Glide any better than other touring bikes? I have ridden my '07 pretty aggresively and have not touched down yet.
I am trying to get it to scrape just to see the limit, but I've been taking some curves almost as fast as I would have on my previous sport bikes.

yea\s, as well as Road King Custom but only in the rear by 1" or so.
to the OP:
i have scraped several times, usually right board first since it is spaced out to clear my exhaust. not scraping is a good thing, it means you are staying within the bikes best traction zone

the R.G. has the most clearance out of all the touring bikes .....specially if you change the wheel set up

You don't have to be going fast to scrap them, just lean over some more.....yep...just a little further.....oh *&$#@......there it is...
Just counter steer more and really push the bike down and you'll find it.

the SG has a shorter shock, 3/4" or 1" I believe

You can raise the floorboards up to the highest mounting position on the frame and gain a little bit more lean angle.

floor boards and exaust will drag (monster ovals) but it does have decent clearance for an 800lb touring bike....
