I have a 2007 Road King Classic that has almost 10,000 miles. I am noticing that the rear looks ready for replacement. I have the whitewall tires also. Since I am a big guy what would be the best tire for me? I am wondering what is the widest I could go and or the tallest? Thanks for your input guys.

 

well I would recommend going with a Dunlop elite 3 , 160. But you would have to give up the white wall. But I think it would be a worth while trade off.

The 160 E3 is about the largest that will go under without any modification. I have ran 150 metz and 150 michelin commander. they also will fit with no modification. But as of now, early in its life cycle, the E3 is handling better than all the others

 

Take a look at the Avon 150 width Venom X in www. It is load rated like the stock Dunlop but about 1/2 inch wider. It is actually as wide as the E3.
