They are a pain to get out but they work really well. Might check you back pivot point and make sure it is not binding up on the stand frame. I had to make a skill full adjustment with my boot lot easier now.

If it goes up when you push the bike forward then check your air pressure on the rear tire. It will also make a difference if the rear tire is at the end of it's tread life.

Just don't park uphill and use the Wheeldock at a Hot Harley Nite outting.
Your bike will just spin the rear tire and not move off the stand.
Don't ask me how I know, I just know.

I have the same problem at times- I ground about 40 thousandths off the pads and that helped. To be honest, I liked the VWOWV stand I had on my 07 EGC a lot better- you could adjust the height. Unfortunately, they are not around any more.

The problem is the thing is a little high - all bikes are going to be at a slightly different height.

The only issue I have with driving off is when on uneven pavement, or parking up a hill. In those instances it is going to take a little shove to move her forward. Other than that you may want to contact Wheeldock/Vendor you bought it from. There are different stands heights for different bikes. I know with my 21" front and 18" rear, it took them a couple shots to get the right stand on the bike, since I wasn't bone stock.

speaking of center stands.....

I bought an '06 Ultra Classic and it also has a center stand...I am 5'6" 150lbs and it took me and my son to get it up on the stand....I have to get used to that sucker......
