I would like to get some info on how to remove the handle bars on my 2008 road king classic. I want to install 16 in apes

The links provided by rocknrod are excellent - I referred to them when I replaced my bars. If you don't already have one, you will need a service manual. This is not an option IMO, especially if you have ABS.
