Default MP3 help

I have taken over my kids mp3 player (that he never uses) and am gonna start using it. I put some songs on it the other day and went off to work. The player and everything works fine but at highway speed I cant hear it. I have the volume up all the way on the mp3 and on the bike radio. Before someone says somethings wrong with my radio I have no problem hearing the am/fm radio at highway speeds. But something is different with the mp3 plugged into the AUX port. Any info will be welcome.

Not sure what type of mp3 you have. I found ( my Nano) that I need to go into the setting and put the master volume all the way up and save it to get the right volume output.

What he said plug some headphones into it and max out the volume then plug it into the radio and adjust the volume from the radio

There is an inline signal booster for MP3 players that can be purchased at http://www.whitehorsepress.com

Some MP3/iPods have a setting that limits volume output in effort to reduce likelihood of hearing damage by kids playing music way loud. Maybe that setting is "on", preventing full volume output by the device??????

Just a thought...
