Default Heritage solo seat on road king police

the newer police seats do sit up higher thanks to a re-configured T-bar and the fact that they use a spring instead of the air bladder. I upgraded my RK with a spring since the air bladder leaked. I don't have to fill the spring nearly as much as I did the air bladder, but it's much firmer. Also, the seats are different. I believe the later ones have more padding in certain areas, but not necessarily softer!

I'd like to find a coil spring with a lower spring rate and possibly a shorter (4-inches) free height to lower the seat just a tad and give me more of that "riding on air" feel. Anyone heard of a substitute? I can't even find out what the spring rate is on the current coil spring from the OEM. Anyone know?
