Default Police Seat Install
Has anyone installed a police seat on a standard Road King? Do the front tabs on the plastic seat tray go under the chrome console or do the just lay on top? Having a rough time getting tray to settle into place due to the plastic wirining conduit underneath. Thanks for any and all help.

Do you have an instruction sheet? What's the part number for the seat? The tabs should go underneath the console

It's been a couple of years since I removed the police seat and hardware from my '04 EG. I think the tabs go on either side of, or betweenthe hinge/brackets that secures the front of the seat to the bike; not under the console. I'm reluctant to suggest it but if your remove the seat completely from the bike, you can then use the bolts that secure the rear of theplastic pan and see where the tabs fit at its front.

i have 04 road king police. i will check tonight to see how the plastic seat "pan" interfaces with the dash. i think it goes under, but i will double check tonight and repost.
i got to tell ya, thepolice air seatis the best. i really likeit.

I have an '05 Police Road King. The tabs go under the center chrome console.
