I posted my story of how I ended up with a new 2009 FLHX Street Glide. What I didnt do is say how great the dealer experience was. I have been going to this dealer for the last 3 months for some service work, clothes etc. No matter how much you spend there they honestly treat you like family. From the service department to the new sales I just had the pleasure of dealing with. They honestly made my transaction fun. It is funny how it is truly family owned. One relative runs each department. I made a joke to the Sales manager I was going to complain that he was picking on me then he laughed and said good talk to my sister inside. They are truly a GREAT group of people. If you are ever in Honesdale PA make sure to visit. Im sure you wont be disappointed!

 

I stopped in there a month or two ago as I was just passing through for work. All I wanted was the proverbial "I was here" T-Shirt but didn't buy one. (Not at that price - gotta draw the line in the sand somewhere!) I did buy two raffle tickets for that Screamin Eagle Springer though. Has that been raffled off yet? WHO WON?

 

Great dealer. They have a killer black friday sale too!

 

It's always great to hear stories like this. Buying a new bike should be a pleasant experience. Some dealers really understand this, while others struggle with the concept.

 

I will only buy from Baer. And I live quite a distance away. You really hit the nail on the head when you stated that they treat you like family. Top notch crew.

 

Was it ever determined why the "Good Dealership" thread was locked but the "Bad Dealership" was not?

Just wondering as this should go into "Good" category.

 

I bought a 01 Wide Glide there back in 2000,
The father had just died and the Son Whayne took it over ,Yes they are good people do they still have the buying club ? $75 to join and 20% off every thing you buy After Market Plus they take your picture when you pick up your bike always had good service there I use to live in the Pocono's , Nice riding up there but not in the winter I think Tom was the service Mgr.

 

i bought my first hd from George a dresser with a side car i told George that i never rode a side car so he took me down the hill at the shopping center and tough me
now thats customer service i wish i lived closer in NC now his son was young at the time and was in service dept i miss that place and the people great folks
you could call there and they would leave the parts outside for you and pay them later
rode to hd in York with the Bear family another great time

Got 3 bikes from them already. nevr would go to any other place again!
