Default HogTunes Tweeter Pod Review

Got it a couple of days ago, installed yesterday. Extremely simple install, elegant design, fit perfect, looks like OEM stuff. Already had J&M speaker upgrade, no amplifier, stock HD radio. Mostly playing tunes off the Zumo through the external radio jack. Sound is generally better across the board for most music, MUCH better for those tunes that have a lot of highs, vocals, nuanced music. Greatly increases the ability to hear the tunes at speed despite Rineharts and 3/4 helmet, sometimes with earplugs. I'm very satisfied, it's high value for the money. Good job with this offering!

On the installation two small things--you should make a slightly larger (bottom) hole to more easily run the wires into the fairing. Also, you'll have to ditch or modify any windshield bags--the angle of the windshield and the top of the speaker pod pushes it forward too far.

No problem fitting this windshield bag.

I agree with you on the bang-for-the-dollar assessment, just like all the Hogtunes mods I've done to the bike (amp and speakers).

I did not have to modify the bottom holes or the windshield bags.......the bag rack fit perfectly.

Looking at the Tweeter Pods and the pic of the T-bags WS bag, I can't see how these would fit together.

My bad on the bags. Mine was a three pocket aftermarket, kinda deep with a curve, handmade. Just couldn't get them back on. Ended up cutting them apart so I can still use the large center one up above. Still cogitating on the two smaller ones.

Love the tunes!

I don't know....I don't have the tweeter pod but I've seen posters on here that have had both, I don't know how hacked it was to make it fit but it looked fine in the pictures.

I just put the Tweeter Dash Pod on last night... it looks awesome - but the sound is REALLY 'tinny' sounding... like there's NO bass at all. Have you experienced this??
