Default Great ride along gulf coast

Did you guys in the Gulf South get the chance to get out and ride few miles in this great weather? I certainly saw a lot of riders on my trip from La. to the Florida Panhandle today. Hard to believe it was the middle of July given the temps today.

Wish I could have been out there. Too many irons in the fire at this moment. Trying to get some of them out of the way.

Sorry to hear that. The Northshore was clear all day.

Man, was the weather GREAT today or what? The wife and I rode with the Baton Rouge SCRC from Baton Rouge to Mansura-a little south of Alexandria and had lunch. It was a great ride-about 250 miles round trip. Looked like everybody that owned a motorcycle was out riding.

You are certainly right, the weather was great. I used to live in Alexandria and that would be a great ride from BR to Mansura. I guess you ride 190 to 71?

We had our monthly BK ride yesterday. The weather was great! Rode 200 miles all through the north shore (Amite, Springfield, some places I never knew existed).

Today I got up feeling like poo, sat on the back porch and enjoyed the hell out of the weather. Must have been Rip-Van-Winkle because I could've sworn it was October weather, not July!
