Default Recall notice

I have searched but I didn't find what I am looking for. Isn't there somewhere on H-D website to check for recall notices for your bike, put in vin# and it will show them.
thanks

Normally when a recall notice has been issued. Your dealer will notify you.

I am looking for anything I can find out about an 06 Ultra, that is getting way too hot in town riding and the dealer is not much help. All they want to say is bring it in and let us fix it. And I was wondering if there had been any recalls or service tips that had been sent we haven't got any notices.

The 06's had a service bulletin for the injectors. This came out in early 06, and efected the bike built before March of 06 if I remember right. Send me a PM, and I will see if I still have it at home, and I can send it to you.

You're right, the early 06 with a 25° injector ( I think it was 25) had a bad "burp" whenever you would take off from a stop. The TSB was to fix the hiccup by replacing the injectors, not so much for heat.
Sounds like the op may be running too lean.
