Default Engine check light

Stock 2007 Road King. Washed last night. Took out this morning and when excellerating check engine light came on. Back to my garage and found loose spark plug wire; corrected this. Went back out , bike running fine.
Problem: check engine light comes on for fuel injection. Goes out and then whether engine is running or not comes back on for a few seconds, then goes out and stays out while running.
Thinking maybe stock ECM squirely?

Yup, loose plug wire caused a historical code and he fixed the problem but the code will remain for 50 ignition cycles unless he clears the code himself which he apparently did.

Hey guys, Sorry I didn't explain. by the time I finish this someone else will probably reply...

short version...

press and hold odometer rest button
turn ignition sw. to ignition (make sure kill switch is in run position)

"diag" appears in odometer window

press and release reset switch
PSStb appears
P should be flashing

press reset switch for more than 5 seconds

code is displayed (or none if no codes present)

press and release switch again to see if more codes are present.

if no more codes present "end" will appear

to clear DST's press an hold reset for more than 5 seconds

to exit without clearing, press and release the reset switch, turn off ignition

once you have the code, post it back up here, anyone with an electrical manual can look it up.

Mine did the same, was a wire grounding out once in awhile in the enclosed wiring bundle.
