need a new helemt
Shoei RJ Platnum 3/4 for putting along the coast with the little woman. Bell Star full face for the long haul. Besides the obvious safety benefits of a full face helmet the Star is also very easy to ride in. It's light, quiet, and very well ventilated. That said, both are great helmets. As far as half helmets are concerned; I just don't feel safe in them.
I have a KBC Tour com 3/4 helmit that is very comfy and a HJC 1/2 Helmit that works just fine in the heat. Haven't had to wear that one yet this summer.
Have to find the one that fits you and then all will be good

For most ridin now I wear a Scopion Exo 100 half helmet that has a retractable tinted visor which is really nice for those who wear prescription glasses. When the sun goes down you just push the visor up & keep on ridin. For really crappy or cold weather I have a Fulmer AFM modular helmet.
Probably the best helmet I have ever wore. Also the customer service is unreal.
If you like the military style helmet....check out the Tropper II
