Quick connected RCA
Quick Connected RCAs
Amp baffle, pulled out of bag, intially you would have to unplug the rca from the amp and plug it back in in the correct position. I wanted something more dummy proof for mechanics, etc. In the past I have been told that quick connecting rcas causes noise etc. for many custom applications , I build my own rca’s and have never had a noise problem. When done correctly, it will sound just as good as it did before… this makes sense, seeing as how, everything has to connect and disconnect at some point in any system. As long as the connections are good, you will be fine. My bag looks amazing now, much cleaner and my setup still sounds awesome…

In a 4 channel rca setup (front and rear) you will need a nice 8 pin plug
Rca.s cut open, there will be 8 wires to deal with (in a 4 channel setup), a pair of signal wire/sheilding wire for each plug). Before I got started, I wrote down my “color code“:

Cut appropriate lengths of heat shrink, basically heat shrink each individual solder point, then each channel, then the entire thing together, will help shielding from outside environment:

With the amp back in position in the bag, all my wires are nice and clean. And the bag is able to be taken off and out back on in a matter of seconds…

The loose wires are for the bike side of the quick connect, as I said, there is absolutely no (audible) “bad noise/whine” or interference and it sounds just as good as it did before…
