Default Zumo Users ?????

Any easy tips for loading music from my computor to my HD model Zumo 550.

Thought it would be simple and the first try with one song and I get a screen that says the device is full. I've never installed anything in it so just wondering how it could be full.

get an SD card and put your mp3's on it.
put the card into your zumo and you'll have your music.

It's probably full of "sample music" that comes installed on them. As stated get a SD card.

the "onboard" memory isn't that large, especially once you have all your maps and such loaded. As someone already suggested, go to your local computer store and get a 2gb SD card and put your songs on that. Be sure to put them in folders of some type (by artist, genre, mood, whatever) as this will speed up the start up of the zumo.

Yup need to get SD card and make sure you use folders. If you don't it'll take forever to turn on and you'll think you have a problem.

Thanks guys, I'm just figuring that out. I deleted one song and was able to add one. Think I'll just stick with the MP3 and won't have to have a cord in my aux port.

You can copy files to your SD card while it's in the Zumo. You don't need a card reader or anything like that. When you have the USB cable connected go to "my computer" and you'll find a drive for the zumo and another drive for the SD card. Just do a copy/paste of your mp3 files on to the SD and you're in binness.

Got an 8 gig micro SDHC card in my Zumo 660 filled with music, any time I use the Garmin I play music from the Zumo... when I don't use the Garmin I either listen to the radio or an MP3 CD. Love the Zumo!

SAVE your original files in a safe area. I didnt - wish I had.
They are good to go back to (reference) in case you make a mkistake.
Ask me how I know

"Think I'll just stick with the MP3 and won't have to have a cord in my aux port."

Just wondering how you listen to audio from the Zumo without running a patch cord to the 'Aux' port?
