I would imagine that pulling a dog out of a spark plug hole would cause a hell of a lot of galling!

Anyhow, just don't put antiseize on the bottom two threads to ensure it is kept away from the tip.

Use sparingly. Only put it on the upper 2/3 the plug threads. It will run when hot and foul out a plug.

Talking Anti-sieze ?

For the machinist out there , most will agree ! Typically 5 threads will hold anything the bolt will hold . Spark plugs threads are a little diffrent , the threads on a spark plug are just under size ! The theory is for the spark plugs to be handy , thats why there is approx 12-15 threads on a plug ! Them being handy means you would need more threads to prevent pulling the threads out . Or on hi compression motors , blowing a plug out . I'm a machinist for budwieser and have raced on numerous accounts , outboard drag boats , modified dirt track ,and dirt bikes ! 35 years of racing and ain't never had any issues with threads on plugs . I dont care how hot it gets ! I have installed every plug I have ever put in dry . Most thread problems are from wire brushing the end of the plug , and causing ruffing up on the first two threads . This will cause a gaulling when going in , feels like sand on the threads ! Other problems is most folks tighten them way to tight ! Typical spark plug with the compression washer will seal with approx 20-25 lbs of torgue . Down here in the deep south , some of them cajun boyz put that anti-seize on them plugs for corrosion purposes . But if you want anti-sieze on your plugs , by all means do it . just use very little ! That stuff will ruin a set of rings right quick . Just my 2 cents and past exp ! Hope this helps !
