So, I'm not much of a wrench, but I've read a few threads here that kinda refer that the stock plugs are kinda crappy. I know I can replace spark plugs.
So, what spark plugs are recommended, and which specific brand/model is correct for my bike?
Nothing wrong with the stock plugs at all. Some use autolite and even champs (which makes the HD plugs) but the stockers are just as good, just a bit more $. Plugs will make little if any difference in performance at all. JUst be sure to gap them correctly and antiseize on the threads with the proper torque too.
Champion RA8HC's come gapped about .030" and you have to bend the ground strap at quite an angle to get .040". They do work fine however, I just prefer the Autolites.
