Not sure about a 2006 but have those bars on my 2008 and used what I had on there. I did have to re-route the clutch cable but not a problem.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on these too. Has anyone done this on a Limited yet? Do you have to extend the TBW harness, and what's involved with the heated grip wiring?

I just put on Klockwerks ergo bars and needed nothing on my 04 EGC and I ran the wires inside. Noway would the stock cables worked with the 575's from what I have seen. I think 4" longer would be about right maybe get by with 3". the wires would not be the problem but the clutch cable and the throttle cables would be stretched too tight.

You can make the stock cables work but you don't want too. Get 3" over Clutch, Throttle, and brake line and do it right. The control wires will work wiring them through the bars....
