Default Ultra Limited ??

I sold my Road King back in November a guy saw it made me a offer i couldn't refuse and i let it go....anyway i have a chance to get a Limited red/black for 25k otd including 1,000 in extra chrome....i ride alone 75% of the time and really dont take any long trips like Florida(yet)..but i really like the Ultras.. lowers/tourpack etc... my wife says i am crazy but i already know that..i have rode a 09 Street Glide and that seemed to be a rough ride because of the shorter shocks...my friend has a 09 SE Road Glide and thing really drives and rides good..just not a fan of the shark nose..i want a bike i will be happy with for short rides or a ride to Outer Banks 3 hours or the Blue Ridge Mountains 2 hours...ok guys help me out

I'm sure you will get a lot of different opinions on this. I have owned 2 Ultras (currently have 09 UC) and really enjoy them. Like you I ride alone 75% time. I do take long trips as well as short ones. It is comfortable enjoyable ride for me. Good luck in making a decision.

The Limited is a great bike, and $25k out the door is a pretty decent price.

If you are not a fan of the front of the bike why don't you get another Road King? Gotta love them for the versatility.....

Is the limited really worth the extra $$... yeah you get the bigger motor but it's still EPA compliant and clogged up. For the extra money you could have a much better running classic IMO anyway.

Get the Limited, take the $1,000 towards TD's, EFI, and a better AC and you'll have a nice ride. Vance and Hines makes true duels now, without the cat, and still incorporates the crossover underneath for heat purposes. My opinion anyway.

the extra chrome has already been installed, highway pegs, covers for the pasenger footrest, heel/toe and footrest done in the H/D nostalgic theme light visors, chrome rings for the speakers, light bar under windshield that has turn signal incorporated in it and some other stuff a can't remember...but air cleaner, and exhaust and tuner would be one of the first things done....and a chrome front end with polished rotors....and....damn it never stops!!!

I'd rent the Ultra for a weekend and see how I like it.
