Default arnott air ride system

those of you who have tried the arnott system
which set up works best on an 09 streetglide
they offer alden and bilstein shocks
at various lengths 12,13 and drop to 9.5
was thinking about the alden set
did check the search and got some info .
looking for a little better reach .if they ride similar to stock
i can live with that.don't want any fender scrubbing.

Hey Pled55, mine are the alden and the 12 inch ones, now mines a 1996, but the tire has never rubbed, I have the stock 16 inch tire in the back and the 21 inch in the front. The ride is not as good as stock, and finding your comfort zone will require the pressure gauge or you can just keep raising or lowering till you find your sweat spot. For me I do 1 1/2 inch above the bottom out stage, and that gives me the rest ride. Don't know if that helps you.

If you are looking for a little more reach, this system is very expensive and not going to give you an aggressive performance result.

I considered this and ended up going with a shorter progressive spring shock on my 2008 FLHX. Handles better, and is about 1" lower than stock.

The air system is impressive though, it is hard to resist... just didnt provide the cost benefit analysis I was looking for.

Hope this isnt off topic, just my experience.

What experience do you have with the Arnott system, have read a lot of good reviews and some not so good review...thinking about adding this system to my 08SG...Would like to get your thoughts on this.

Thanks

Ford's suck too, however I can elaborate why I feel that way and give supporting evidence of my opinion. Ranging from the crappy tires they used down to the windows not rolling up on a 3 week old truck resulting in a flooded interior or that the vehicle left me stranded at 2am when it was 6 months old.

So what sucks about the shocks?

I have the Arnotts on my bike now for 4 years and couldn't be happier. I found the ride to be the same and no difference in handling. Matter of fact, being able to lower it when needed lowers the center of gravity and makes it easier to maneuver. I give them a thumbs up.
