Default $700 Burning a Hole!

OK guys this is the deal. My wife gave me the green light to go ahead and spend the $700 to purchase a Leather Tour Pak and Rack for my 2006 RKC but after thinking about it a little more......$700 is a lot of money! What else can I get for the scoot up to $700?

Looking for some of your input minus the wife jokes!

Thanks!

That would be my vote... I prefer the clean lines. If you need a tour pack go with a quick detach rack and nelson rigs T-Bag... it's on when you need it and not when you don't. Then you can spend the rest on a road trip.

Better question is not what you can get but what do you need or want???....
My first suggestion is you need to get some glasses and post this in the right section as you are in the touring parts for sale...... :-)
Might try the WTB section and post...WTB something for $700 that will fit my R.K. LOL...
(Sorry but just couldn't help it!!!)

Whatchu got for performance? Cams? Tuner? Pipes?
If your looking for touring options then I would go with the tbag and the quick disconnect luggage rack rather than the tour pack.

I have pipes, headers, thundermax auto tune and air cleaner and not really looking to get into cams or anything more in the performance department.

Just waying my options before dropping the money on the tour pak. I have seen them on ebay and craigslist.

Branded 1: Nice post!

I guess you need to decide show or go for mods... That was a questions I asked myself just after my purchase. So far I have planned on go. I Had a sweet looking bike before my stock SG and spent half a Sat. cleaning and a half a Sat. riding for the first year. Didn't take long to figure out I'd rather be riding and after a few years is why I bought a SG ( still a sweet looking ride with functionality). I started off buying for comfort, Klock werks shield, seat, luggage rack, soft bags for trips, still need/want a gps, and now getting into a little performance, pipes ect. Pick what aspect you dislike the most about your ride and improve on it to your satisfaction then move on to the next. If your initial thought was tour pack I'd go with that or some other type of additional storage. If momma is happy (riding more) she might be willing to sacrafrice a little more for future mods. I am currently playing the saftey card for performace upgrades Thanks to a tax return and Caggers everywhere!!!
