Default Need Help with Tire Balancing

I'm getting ready to order a set of E3's for my 08 UC. I've read some post on here regarding Dyna Beads. Then I read where People are using Ride-on.
They say Ride-on will balance the tires plus guard against flat's. I'm confused as what to use. I'd like to do it right. If I use Dyna beads, how much do I put in each tire. The same question for Ride-on. The tire sizes are MT90B16 front and MU90B16 rear. Thanks for any and all advice!

For Dyna beads I use 1 oz in the front and 2 in the rear. I have never tired ride on, but love my Dyna beads.

Thanks, I've heard a lot of good reports with the Dyna Beads.

I'd go with the DynaBeads myself. Make sure the installer don't use too much soap or they will be useless if they stick and can't roam freely.

What would you do if you have spokes(requires a tube)?

I'm no expert, I'm getting some opinion's on how much weight or how many oz's to put in each tire. I would think they would work as good if not better in a tubed tire. Don't have to worry about getting too much moisture in the tire while installing it. I read somewhere not to use too much soap or any lubricant that would cause them not to move around and do their job.

They come with an "installer tool" for tubes as well as directions for that. I let the shop that mounted my tires deal with it, but you put a tube over the valve stem and squeeze them in slowly. Apparently a dremel makes it far easier according to a friend who did his own.

Thumbs up

+4 on Dyna Beads. You can use them with either tubed or tubeless tires.
I put 2 Ounce in the front and two in the back.

Easy unless you have a 90 degree valve stem, then you would want someone to help with leaning the bike over a little so you can get them beads in. And don't forget to take the wheel weights off.

They really are great!

They can be used in tubed tires.

As DR. V-TWIN noted in an earlier post, 1 oz in the front and 2 oz in the rear is recommended by Innovative Balancing. They sell a kit for motorcycle tires with the proper amount of dynabeads included.

I buy their largest bulk bags and weigh the beads out myself. I use an electronic postal scale for this. I use the beads in my scoot, my F150 and trailer.
