I carry my 8 GB ZUNE with me a lot of times. It is an MP3 player but it also has FM stereo. I've got about 2,000 songs on it now but it will hold much more. The earbuds that come with it are ok but there are some great after market replacement earbuds that have great sound.
What's also great about the ZUNE is that you can carry it in your pocket when away from the scoot. Like at rallies , bike shows and other events.

My '09 RG has the speaker switch and I wanted to install a 3.5mm jack to plug in ear buds when the speakers were shut off.
Followed the wiring sheets in the back of the service manual and located the drivers/sidecar headset speaker wires.
I tapped into these and wired a female jack in the inside fairing.
While I was at it I located the passengers headset speaker wires and tapped into those too. I have rear speaker pods on the RG.
I installed another female 3.5mm jack under the left side speaker pod.
Everything works great....shut the speakers off....I have control of my volume and my wife has control of hers.
OH....as for buds.....I run Beats by Dr. Dre, they are great.
