Now that I've found out why my radio system didn't work, I'm fixing it slowly.
The guy who wired my stereo system and put the speakers in just twisted wires together and used electrical tape on them, I took him fusible wire butts, he didn't use them, now I'm going through the entire system soldiering all the joints.
Then I found he wired all the different speakers together, woofers, tweeters, regulars speakers, no wonder my system sounded like crap!
I'm spending time to do it right, much advice from members in here, thank you!
Now, I want to add the Bluetooth from Iron Cross, while it's there, I'm going to have RCA's placed on the radio.
Looking for feedback on the Bluetooth from Iron Cross?
May be a good time to think about upgrading the stock HU to a better quality unit. I found that just amplifying the stock radio just amp'd it's deficiencies. For what it would cost to mod it you can get some good HU's. I got the Sony MEX GS810BH from BT for about $200.00, Its awesome. Has HDFM no loss of signal with BT 2180 amp, Bluetooth, 2 USB inputs, I pod jack, Pandora,10 band EQ, lots of other features/ settings to play with. Install was easy with Biketronics kit.Sounds way better than the stock ever did.

Yeah that!! As Babyboy stated I live in INDY if you need help with the install. I'm there. I run the same HU and it's an awesome unit!! Especially at the price they are selling it for now. It was $279 when I purchased mine.
Man, I had the Sony, didn't like it at all!!!
I'd rather use the HK, I have the IPOD hookup, Sierris radio, Harley GPS, all I needed is to see if the RCA's would do the trick with my cross-overs.

Well folks here is what I've done to my radio system.
Put a Soundstream P1000D in the saddlebags to run my 4 speaks in the bags,
5X7 JL C3 570 in the lids
In the inner bags JL 13TW5v2-4
Sent my HK to IronCross to get RCA's for the rear system.
In the Front. Soundstream 520,
with, 2 JL C3 650 speaks in the fairing with two tweeters Hogtunes
Lower fairing speakers, JL C3 650.
I've put crossovers in the lids, and in the fairing, I was tired of having just a loud radio and not quality sound, now I'll have a kickass system in the future.
