Ok, so after doing all the performance mods over the past two years that I wanted (and am very happy with), its time for a looks question. I want to go black since I hate trying to keep chrome shiny. So my question is (since I cant imagine what it would look like), would going wrinkle black on anything near the motor and gloss black on the front (fork sliders) and back of the bike (Turn signal bar, smoke tail light, etc) look silly? I think the wrinkle black matches the midsection well and might not look bad but I am not sure.

I only ask because my performance mods are finally done....for now

 

I dont know about silly. I like the look of blacked out bikes.

 

That is what i did on mine everything on the motor and i did the air cleaner in a wrinkle black finish to match the motor and all the other stuff was done in a high gloss black. I think it looks good together. Here is a couple pics.

thanks. yeah the wrinkle looks good with the motor matches perfect. getting my crash bar done in the next week or so just holding off in case i find more stuff to get done. good luck.
