I just replaced the emblems on my 2010 street glide. Thanks for the tips. Dental floss worked great.

Big Al47, dug your post out of the archives, just wanted to know what sort of jignometry did you use to work out emblem positions?

measurements from where to where? About to embark on the same thing myself and hoping to learn from any tips you can offer.

Thanks in advance.

No problem....I measured everything from all kinds of different angles. I used a regular metal ruler and a flexible tape measure like a seamstress uses. I measured from the front of the tank, from the top, from the pinstripe, I mean everywhere. Like I said in my original post, it took me at least an hour to measure, position, look at it up close and from like 10 feet away, re-measure, re-position, re-look, etc. It was very tedious, but kinda fun at the same time. The main thing is to TAKE YOUR TIME because once they stick on there, I don't think you can take it off and try again.

Emblems are still holding up well and still look great. I need to get them spot welded though, I would be heartbroken if they fell off/got lost/got stolen.
