Where can you get the anniversary decals with having harley paint the bike?
Need my fairing panited and don't want it done by harley.

 

If you are talking about the original 03 anni tank decals, you can contact HD, or go to a Dealer with your Vin# and they can order them for you. Someone stole the small decal off my gas tank cover that has the number of 7000 made. I had to verify I was the owner with registration, plus the vin# Good Luck!

 

Looking for the tape(stripping) that goes around the tank and fairing. thanks

 

From what Ive been told by the dealer, you have to buy the entire part (tank, fairing etc) to get the decals AND you have to send them your old/damaged one before they will ship a new one. They said the reason is they dont want anyone cloning the bikes.

 

On a CVO ....yes.........anniversary no..............dealer can order the tape............."your" dealer is given you a line a b.s...........

As long as the tape is available they can order it....I ordered a roll last fall for a bud that I repainted a front fender for.........

 

I tried to get a decal for the back window on my pu once, it was from a sportster which is one of those quarterly paint schemes that they decided to produce during the 2nd 3rd or 4th quarter of the particular year. Maybe that is similar to a cvo model paint?? So I bought a $48 fatboy tank decal instead.
