Default Help 06 Electra glide

Ive just noticed recently that when the bikes in first gear, with the clutch lever pulled in and i try to roll it. The bike will not move. Is this some thing that a simply clutch adjustment will fix? Also wheres the best place you guys have found to buy a maintinance manual.

Sounds like a clutch adjustment is needed. You can get a service manual off one of the web HD dealers like Zanotti's or Chicago HD.

'06 service manual #99483-06 and Touring Models parts catalog #99456-06 are must haves. I have an '06 EGC and it is difficult to roll as you describe when the motor is not running. When running there is no problem maneuvering. Might just need a little tweaking.

If it's just harder to roll than when in neutral, that's normal. If it won't roll at all, you clutch needs adjusting. Does it try to creep forward on you with the clutch pulled in and the motor running?

If your trying to do this while the bike / fluid is cold and the bike is not running, it is normal. The clutch plates are sticking together because of the oil in there.

No creep, But every things fine when I'm riding around. just not when its stopped
I tend to go through car service manuals pretty fast (reading when hands are dirty). So I tend to buy Chilton's or Haynes manuals cause there cheaper. Do they make manuals for HD. The dealership had one that was $60.

You can get the CD version on ebay for less than $10. The book is more expensive.

There is absolutely no substitute for the HD manuals.
