radio change, rear speakers don't work...
Hello,
i change my radio for a sony unit this week-end. I used hawg-wired system and as i read on this forum, it was very easy. It sound great with the Focal speakers even at 140 kph...
I connect evrything but now my rear speakers don't work. They were working with the oem radio but now...
Do someone had this problem?

EDITED TO INCLUDE SLOT/CHAMBER NUMBERS.
Your OEM head unit had two large 23-wire connectors plugged in the back. The Hawg-wired used only one of these; the second was unused. The unused plug has the rear speaker wires in numbered slots/chambers and are color-coded: (1) left rear speaker (-) slot 3, white/brown stripe; (2)slot 4, right rear (-), light green/brown stripe; (3) slot 10, left rear (+), brown; and, (4) slot 11, right rear (+), green. As currently wired, your rear speakers are not receiving any audio signal.
You need to remove the four wires from the connector/plug or simply cut them and re-connect them to the corresponding rear channel wires of the Sony head unit.
Because the Hawg-wired module only uses the first plug, it isn't designed for using rear speakers. But you can connect the rear speakers as described above directly to the rear speaker outputs of the Sony head unit.
Bon chance, ami.
