I could not find this info anywhere, so I am adding it to this thread. For my bar swap I used the TGS from a 2016 softtail part number 32700050 because all the wires including heated grips are in one neat cable with a little connector on the end. The problem was there is no yellow/black color coding to the two sets of black/white/red wires. They instead have one set wrapped with a little blue electrical tape and small blue sharpie dots on the 3 wires in that set. The blue dotted wires are the black set. So they get connected as follows:

pin 1 = black
pin 2 = white
pin 3 = red
pin 4 = black with blue dot
pin 5 = white with blue dot
pin 6 = red with blue dot

The pin numbers are molded into the cap on the back of the plug next to where the wires enter from the back. I got the correct connector (molex 150 6way) and pins from NAMZ, and a cheap molex crimper on ebay (I think it was 40$).

Default Throttle Grip Sensor Install with Pics

Hi Everyone, thought I would post up some wiring pics of a TGS install I just did (2009 Ultra Classic). Overall, very easy except for the wire color matchups. Hopefully this helps expedite so you can get back on the road. (Don't forget to clear out your codes to ensure your new TGS is going good).

Yeah, it's very easy...unless you have done internal wiring...

Man, you saved the day with these pics 😊 I just got a newly wired set of Heritage style bars back from my dealer and got a check engine light when I installed them. Codes P1510 and P2138. Your pic confirmed the dealer’s tech reversed the position of the red and white wires from the black conduit! I carefully swapped those two wires, put everything back together and cleared the codes... voila! No CEL. Thanks a million!

I know this post is old but does anyone know if there is an internal difference between a TGS 3270005 and 32310-08? I used a 323 to replace a 327 on my 16 Breakout and the bike turns over but does not start. I believe I traced the wires correctly.
