Default Twist grip sensor 32310-08: wire colors

I got my 124" StreetGlide started yesterday, but it will only start if I unplug the twist grip sensor. When I put my Monkey Bars on, I switched for the twist grip sensor 32310-08 so the green connector wouldn't be in the way.
The new TGS has a red, white, and black set of wires in a black wrap and a red, white, and black set of wire in a yellow wrap.
Does anyone know which is which when compared to the stock TGS diagram below?
I followed instructions I found previously but it didn't work (I'll recheck my connections this afternoon, maybe I didn't push a pin far enough in the plug). The funniest thing is that I'm not getting a DTC, and the bike will only start with the TGS unplugged.
One more question, should I see some changes while logging with DataMaster when twisting the grip with the ignition on but the bike not running.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sounds like something isn't connected right. I followed the directions posted here and had/have no problems. Have you re-checked everything?

Is this here what you followed?

Wires from black sleeve go in 1,2,3
1-black
2-white
3-red

Wires from the yellow sleeve to in 4,5,6
4-black

Thanks

It's been a few weeks, but that looks right. It took me a couple of tries to get the pins seated properly in the plug.

OK, thanks a lot, that's the instructions I followed too. I'll try re-seating the pins again. I hope it's not a faulty TGS, I'd rather poke needles in my eyes than thread those wires through those Monkey Bars again.

Check out page 6 on this (referring to 32310-08)
https://www.shop.harley-davidson-ros...s/56032-08.pdf

It's the opposite of the previous instructions, it says

yellow conduit
black to cavity 1
white to cavity 2
red to cavity 3

black conduit
black to cavity 4
white to cavity 5
red to cavity 6

I hope I didn't fry anything.

Did you ever find out which one of the diagrams for the wiring was correct? Does the Yellow conduit go to cavity 1-3, or does the Black go to 1-3?

The one I posted worked, the other one didn't.

sorry, I've posted this a long time ago. Follow the instructions in the H-D link I posted and that's what worked for me.
