Best seat I've had so far. Very comfy. I have a very new Mustang solo seat with backrest sitting in my garage because my sundowner can't be beat. Even tried a corbin for a while. If anyone is interested in the Mustang, PM me.

I have a sundowner on my 09 and I love it. It doesnt look as "cool" as the lower profile stock seat on the rear fender, but it keeps the better half happy which means MORE RIDING!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I have ordered the seat, so when I have logged some long miles on it I will let you all know whether it was worth the investment.

Default sundowner

If you do get the seat get a tall sissy bar cuz rear is taller than stock and short bar is not tall enough

Much better than stock, especially if you ever ride two up. Back rest is a must have if you ride all day.

It is a very comforable seat if that is not an issue.

I have the solo bucket and the passenger pillion that I would part with. It has the SG stitching. It is like new as I only had it on the bike a couple of times. PM me if you decide and are interested.
+1 On the seat moving you forward. This made me sell mine. I am runing a stock 09 rg seat and are much happier.

I put on a stock 08 Road Glide seat. It's very comfy for both people and still looks sleak and sporty.
Keep it in mind, if you get tired of the huge looking rear section of the Sundowner.
