I liked the stock 09 seat for myself. The wife didn't. I tried a road glide seat but I didn't like it for myself. Wife never got to try it. I put a Rallyrunner on and I like it, the wife likes it and it looks way better than the stock, roadie, and sundowner. It also is leather which I kinda like too.

My 09 roadking stock seat had to go. And after reading hundreds of posts on seats I decided to go with the Sundowner, no regrets, I love it

Momma gave me the thumbs up to order a sundowner, at 5'8" (5'9" with boots) i hope i can flat foot a little better with this seat! I'm close with the stock seat but just not quite there, sending the sundowner off to get re worked will be the next step.

Ok have read the threads and have only found a couple of guys complaining about the seat "Sundowner Solo" pushing them to far forward. Any other cons on this seat just ordered it yesterday and have time to cancel if needed, any help would be nice.

I'm not going try talking you out of getting it, but I've got one and I'm not sold on it. It's FAR BETTER for the passenger, but I didn't notice much difference for myself at all. It is better than stock, but that's about it.

Put mine on a few days ago and it did lower me enough to be able to flat foot and it is a little more comfortable for me and momma loves it. I'll have to break it in a little more but so far so good with the 2010 version!

I am running one on my 03 sporty. Wife couldnt do any touring with the stock two up seat and wanted to take the truck and trailer everwhere. Not the point of a bike trip! Got the sundowner and no complaints from her side. It does change the style of the bike but hey when you are putting on the miles and enjoying the ride who cares what it looks like under your ****!
