I am buying a 2010 SG or RG is about a month. What do you suggest in the way of tools to carry on the bike? Thanks for your suggestions.

A spare clutch lever is good to have in the kit.

I always have Harley toolkit, electric tape, zip ties and a set of plugs. Does not take up much room and you never know you may need them or can help somebody else out.

The SG should come with a tool kit. I added a combo screwdriver, a small vise grip, tie straps, and some duct tape pulled off the roll and folded back on itself.

I have the same one and for the price its pretty good. A few other notes is add ty wraps, electrical tape and maybe a few other odds and ends. LAst year on a trip to rockies one of the guys broke the kickstand spring on his electragilde outside Jackson, WY and all they sell is t-shirts at the dealer so I will be ordering a extra spring just in case because it was a pain to tie it up and untie it when we had to stop.
