Checkout this link http://www.hdhammerheads.com/ his name is Bill Bishop did the whole setup in my 95 inch motor 2003 FXDWG

His hammerheads fly..........Ive yet to be beat by a Screming Eagle setup yet, ya get the most power from the reworked stock heads.

just food for thought.........

Watched 2 baggers race 3 times today, one was a 106 inch motor the other a Screaming Eagle setup 107 inch, he lost all 3 times....

Both great drivers.........We race every other Sunday weather permitting all street machines.......

ORIGINAL: Sleeps In Trees

Cool! When I was checking (last June) it seemed like everyone had only the S&S 510's in stock & ready to ship.

VicW.
I'm going to be ordering them this week, and they'll be here next week.

The pistons I'm going to get if the dealer has them in stock on hte 9th, if not.........Zanotti's.

I'd love to do the build now, but our riding season is short enough that I don't want to lose any time.

So which cam did you decide on, the TW26G's?

I hear ya, ours is dwindling down here too. Good luck on the build Steve. Just meticulously follow the instructions in the service manual. Ask here if you have any questions, lots of extremely knowledgeable ppl here. Relax & have fun w/it, it really ain't that bad...& man what a feeling when you hit that starter for the 1st time!! Heck, every time after that too!

Yes, I'm going with the Andrews 26G cams at 9.2:1 compression.

The only thing I need to borrow/rent is the inner cam bearing remover/installer.........anyone have one here?

VicW.

I think OL is still wondering how a man could be so engrossed w/a box of gaskets! Hehehe!
