Default Road Glide windshield trim

Which do you prefer HD or Kuryakin? Will they fit with a Windvest 14" shield?

...... i went w/ HD. The Kury piece looks smoother since it's center section stretches out toward the side of the windshield, but the HD trim has a "Road Glide' nameplate in the middle which looks good to me and let's the Shark's many uninitiated admirers know what they're lookin' at
...(no Marge, it's not one'a them electric ultra glide things, ..see here, it's, it's a ... oh my good dam gawd, it's a Road Glide .. check this baby out!) ;-}

I wasn't able to make it fit correctly on my 12" Windvest. YMMV though.

That was the third aftermarket shield I tried to make it work with, so I finally just gave up. Of all the shields I tried I'll admit that the Windvest was probably the closest fit, but even using the shorter offset mounts it still didn't want to lay flush the way it does with the stock shield.

Good luck with it. Good looking piece, but not worth the hassle I went through, for me at least.

I have the same problem, not quite the flush mount as the stock shield.. But boy is it a great shield....... I am thinking of going w/ the HD trim, and spraying it w/ black chrome...

Default windsheild trim

Mini, I would have to agree with groupw on this. I love the HD look and it completes the fairing look on the front. Now....if they only come out with a "bag kit" for the inside like they do for the Streetglides.
