Default Rear Mudflap install on 06 FLHT

I recently purchased a mudflap for the rear fender on my 06 FLHTI and was wondering if anyone else has one installed on their flht? I was told I wouldn't have to drill the fender but after removing the rear bumper assy off the bag supports it looks like I'll have to drill it. Also will I be able to keep the original rear bumper assy? Since I have my 5k service soon I may just have the dealer install it while it's in. Thanks for the help....

Just bought one for my 06 FLHT. Looks like drilling is required according to HD instructions that were included. I am looking for another option, as I do not want to tear down that far OR drill holes in my fender. Sorry I could not offer more info. Good luck.
