Anyone here running one of these on their Road King?
I am 5'9" and have a C&C seat along with the low profile shocks on my 2009 RKC. Was wondering if given my height and lowered sitting position if a 15" with the recurve would be a better choice for me than the 17" version.
With my stock shield, I find that I look through it rather than over it - I'd like to look over the windshield a bit.
I have the 15" recurve on my RK. It is just right for me, I'm 5'7 and can see over it fine, however, it is close to being too short (i.e. 15 3/4" would have been perfect!!), but I'm happy as is, the wind/bugs just barely scrape the top of my helmet. The 17' would have me looking right through the recurve section of the shield, Clearview recommended the 15". If I was even an inch or two taller and still had the stock seat I think that the 17" would have been a better choice. If you have the stock seat I think you would definitely need the 17", I have a Mustang seat which sits me about 1/2" lower on the bike.
Hope that helps.
Also Clearview allows you to try the shield to see how it fits, if you don't like it you can return it for the next size - you just have to leave the protective "skin wrap" on while you test it out, then return it in it's original package.

Thanks for to info. Any photos of it on your bike?
Not very good at posted pics, but I'll give it a try!! I'm here alone at the present time so I couldn't get anyone to take a picture with me sitting on the bike - I'll try that later if your interested.
