Default Baffles

I couldn't find what I needed when I searches so here it is.

What is everyone running baffle wise.
I have Rush slipons with 2" baffles, great sound. I have heard from the Fuel Moto guys to restrict one side and open the other. So use say 2" on one side and 2.25" on another. Which side do I restrict?

I can call them tomorrow if need be but If I can find out tonight I can test it out. Thanks

They will likely tell you to restrict the left side so the right becomes 2 into 1 with each cylinder scavenging off the other. the left side is effectively a dummy for a balanced appearance. on my 01 i cut a chunk out of the right rear down pipe and plugged each opening to make true duals. $1.50 for the two Chevy freeze plugs.

My bike is an 01 non EFI so I don't have the tuning issues as do you folks with the newer bikes but I removed both baffles from my 4" Bassani slipons and love the sound and how it drowns out the OL....

Yeah you are exactly right. This is how I was told by Fuel Moto their Jackpot setups pretty much work. I am just doing it with a set of Rush pipes. I would love to know how your mod worked as far as power. I want the 2 into 1 setup on mine but I really don't want to pay the money for it. I am happy with what I have so I guess it doesnt pay just yet

Thanks again

Runs and sounds good.
