Ha ha, your right, should have a patch. Oh yes, his insurance will pay for the helmet and then some. It did feel good to tell him I was ok. He will live with that mistake as well. I wouldn't want to be on that end either.

A fair ending ( no, very good ) to a bad accident. Glad you are okay and in the right frame of mind. Sux going over the bars, I have been there, felt that and my helmet worked as designed. Glad, glad, glad for you. I admire your spirit and outlook, all the best.

Hate to hear these things happen, but always relieved to hear outcomes such as this. Nice to learn you basically ok. BTW, classy move on phoning the guy. as a rider himself, he must surely appreciate the effects of 'not seeing' you and receiving a call like that is probably helping him quite a bit.
