Many variations here. The OP (2010) was "the best 1/2 helmet" There are many good 1/2 helmets. In the class of bobble head 1/2 helmets I can not comment. As far as a smallest 1/2 helmet that is quality there is only 1 best: Skull Crush. The others are not even close.

The first helmet my wife and I both really like and enjoy. We are each on our second one. Wore the first for 4 years and both got new ones last year when we got our new bike.
