? to OP, what model Kurakyn adjustable pegs did you buy? I see there are 2 different ones listed, is it special to the 2010 models? I am wanting them so my son can ride on the back with me.

simple thing; replace the barrel lock on gas cover with a button best $27 I've spent....don't have to dig in the pocket when I stop for gas....

Then loose the cat with new header pipe and nice slip-ons....I went dresser duals and h.o. slip-ons by V&H....then Power Commander V with new cams and highflow are cleaner...I called fuelmoto.com and they hooked me up......

also get a air/gauge pump for the rear shocks...the hd model is fine.....

If your ultra doesn't have the fairing wind deflectors I recommend them...rode about 50 miles with them open yesterday and then closed them and the reduction in buffeting was significant...

Bluegrassboy - Already switched out to the button gas cover, and at the same time bought the air pump for the shocks! Thanks. I purchased the Kuraykayn 4353 -

Agreed. Ride and make changes as you go.

As I went it looked something like this:
Windshield
Seat
Stage 1 AC, mufflers, tuner
Swap air temp with oil temp gauge
Vented Lowers
Handlebars and grips
Cams
Tour Pack
Different oils in crank, primary, tranny, and suspension

The list goes on, but when it's time you will know exactly what you need to do. This is how you make it your own.

I agree with some of the others: Go for comfort first. The more you ride it, the better you will know what to replace or modify. Then, I would install the goodies on it to make it your own. I decided on a concept and started buying things a little at a time. (E-bay is my best friend.) Personally, I am not going to make any performance mods until the engine needs worked on. Got enuff power for now.......but then again, I always have my 85 flt for fun.
