Cool Watch out

I just came back to Ohio from the southwest Va. area up 23 to 119 to 77. I saw several semi tires spread all over the road in several places. once there was a whole tire in the passing lane as I was about to pass a truck---could have been ugly. I think this heat makes those tires blow apart more often. Anyways, watch out for those things. Had a good trip down and back but it was sure hot today on the way back today! Another 800 miles on the street glide without a problem. hdsg

I'm a trucker, and for me, the scariest thing in the world is when i'm passing a truck on my scoot! If one of those blows & you're next to it, it's over johnny!

during summer is when the recaps tend to fly off the carcasses. much more than you'll see during the cooler months.

Its one of my biggest fears passing trucks...I always pass with authority 80-90 mph....then slow back down...there's no way I'm sitting beside a truck in the passing lane like that.

Always been leery of passing big rigs. Normally I get as far over as I can when passing them.

Good point on the tires blowing with the heat. I've also seen many treads on the road lately. Luckily haven't seen any blow in person.

Is that is your rig in your avatar? It is pretty sweet.

I've been hit by one rolling on the highway thank god I was in a car but it still sounded awful, would have been dead on a cycle.
