Good question. When i uncoiled the wire harness from the side of the fuse box i realized the 3 wires for the tour pack and antenna cable were in the same conduit. In order to get the tour pack harness to reach the tour pack i had to cut the conduit off and separate the three wires from the antenna. Now i have 3 wires exposed from the fuse box all the way to the tour pack. Maybe they dont need the conduit to protect them from getting pinched but i would think they do. With that said i dont know how to get conduit back over the wires without cutting them and sliding the conduit over the wires. I asked about the wire gauge so i could make sure i got the correct connector to hold the wires securely. I guess i could put a larger conduit over the wires (one that will slip over the connector also) but that will not look right.

Not sure "conduit" is the right word here but i am referring to the shiny black rubber stuff the wires go through.

I welcome a better way!

On my 09 Classic there was enough of the antenna wire exposed from the sleeving, that when i remove the tour pac there is enough length to stuff the light connector under the seat and run the antenna cable back to the antenna on the bag support. You could just wrap yours in electrical tape,or buy some heat shrink sleeving that will fit over the connector ,it usually shrinks down to half its original diameter.

Most auto parts stores sell a black split plastic 'conduit' by the foot...should take care of your needs. I've used it in the past to protect trailer light pigtails

Ya its called wire loom. You could get some of that to cover it without cutting your factory wiring up.
