I'm going to have to take a look at direct lifts. Complete hydraulics is competively priced though. I'm just worried about the overall stability of the lift.

I have not personally taken the plunge into a lift table, but at some point I will. Don't leave out the Harbor Freight lift tables from consideration. They seem to have a good bang for the buck and especially for most of us who will use them occasionally for servicing or wrenching on winter projects. If you intend to use the lift every weekend, this one may not be for you. But take a look, they're very reasonably priced and seem to be a good quality. Yes, they're made you know where, but for the price, worth a look at least.

I went with the snap on because I used one at the Indy shop I used to work for and because I got it on eBay barely used and shipped to my house for $1300. The reason I like the snap on is the wheel chock, the electric motor over hydraulic so I don't have to run the air compressor and it raises to 48" high. It's an awsome table!

I use mine for maintenance on my RKC and Ducati. I went with the Harbor Freight 1000lb, foot pump unit for $359.99. Works great for this DIY garage. If I used it to make a living I would buy a more full featured unit.

I have the TCML with the side extensions and scissor jack. I have had problems with the cylinder not lifting. I had to put a new seal in it as the o-ring was damaged and so far it is working fine. I realy like a lift and the side extensions are a plus. The scissor jack is heavy duty and works well. Make sure the ramps are extra long as mine could use another few inches as the bike will bottom out if I am sitting on it when loading the bike so I just walk it up while stradeling the bike.
