Ok gang, getting ready to get a set of True Duals for my '08 Ultra. I'm running the Rush Slip On's and like the sound, but wanna go with the TD's to move the "heat" factor south.

What do you recommend for a set of TD's?

 

other than big dollar full systems I've kinda resigned to getting V&H dresser duals myself. I already have oval slip ons (came with the bike) and figure the build in progress could have the money spread around more if I just go that way. I'll watch the opinions here though...

 

Why not just buy the Rush TDs?

 

For my '08 I bought the V&Hs True Duel head pipes and it solved all my heat problems I was having at the time.

Now exhaust makers are making "Ceramic Coated pipes" I would check into that.
That's how I went with my '09. RUSH, ceramic coated inside and out.

 

Vance & Hines true duals here... picked them up used from the classifieds. I am very happy with them and the fit and finish is excellent.

 

Yachtman, didn't realize that Rush had a set of TD's. I'll check them out.

I was leaning toward the V&H's, but really don't know. That's why I came here. I have to say this forum is one of the best places to get real world input on what to do and not to do with your HD.

I like the V&H TD's on my 08 RKC. Started with Rush slip-ons, moved to V&H ovals and probably going to sell both those cans in favor of Monster ovals.

The TD's look/sound great with the Rush and ovals, although a little too loud IMO with the ovals maybe. I am switching cans around for look and change more then anything. The V&H TD's are not going anywhere!
