Default RINEHART accessory baffles

Anybody try the new accessory baffles for the. Clearline manufactured RINEHARTs. They offer the 2" guiet and 2.5" extra loud performamce baffles along with the original 2.25" standard baffles. Ive got a new set of the 4" slipons coming in and was just wondering if anybody tried replacing the 2.25" standard baffles.

Boogaloodude, I just read that you have the 2.5" baffles in your true duals and they are considerably louder than the 2.25" baffles. Any other brand of muffler carry a 2.5" baffle?

I don't think they are considerably louder than the standard baffles. A little louder, but the standard baffles are fairly loud as well. I've never heard the so-called quiet baffles so can't comment. I've heard from other riders that they are a little quieter, but also change the sound and eliminate some of the low frequency tones. I love the way my exhaust sounds, but it's a little loud for some tastes.

Rush has a 2.5" baffle that can be used in their mufflers. I had them up until last year. Great quality chrome, but the baffle was wrapped with a fiberglass wrap that burned up and blew out over time. Reason why I got rid of them.

Just about the same question, I have a 2010 FLHTK w/ RH TD and these are too freaking loud I was wondering of the Rinehart quiet baffles are actually quieter then the stock ones? I remember reading that the earlier Rinehart / Bub models with their quiet baffles were not much quiter and made the mufflers even sound worse?

Still trying to figure a soultion to quiet these down!
