I called rinehart about a month ago asking about these baffels. From what I recall the guy said there will not be a noticeable difference in performace but they are definitely louder.
Still would be nice to hear what guys who actually have them say
I put them in my 12 CVO SG. They were louder, but I wouldn't call it a big difference. I changed a lot of baffles before, but that was the hardest job I ever did on a bike. From getting the endcaps off, getting the baffles out and getting the endcaps back on. It wasn't worth the trouble and I'm keeping the 2.25 baffles that came with the 4 in mufflers on my present bike. I do know that others had no trouble at all changing the baffles.
I have the 2.5" baffles in mine. I would say it is a little deeper over louder. Howere, it is hard to tell unless you use adecible meeter. I do love the sound of my pipes and my buddy with a 2014 CVO Road King, bigger cam, hi-comp pistions Rinehart 4" with standard baffles andV&H power duals loves the sound.
I did it for about 3 months and put the others back in. My bike was a lot louder (I like to try to stay in good graces with my neighbors at 5am) and I lost torque. Really wasn't impressed with it.....but that's just my opinion. I sold them on here right after I pulled them out.
