Default Wo575 are on...but

they feel great and ride much better....but my cruise control is on the fritz. i can set it but it seems overly sensitive and will shut off. sometimes it will not set at all. but if i turn off the cruise switch and turn it back on it will work. i had no problems pulling the wires throught the handle bars. no hard pulling or tugging. just smooth pull. i have heard of the green throttle connector problems. looks like i am going to have to tear it all down again to see what the problem is... or maybe one of you guys have had the same problem and can point me in the right direction..either way its got to come apart.

Man, I hate you have a problem. Check all the connectors first. possibly in the Molex connectors inside the faring? If you pulled them through easily I would think you are okay. Any codes?

i have'nt seen any warning lights come on. i would think that would indicate a code? or would there be a code but no warning light? i have never checked it for codes. this bike has always been flawless for 16800 miles.

with my luck if it was raining hookers i would get hit with a queer......

Check to see if your brake light switch is properly aligned. That's what turns the cruise off.

Yes, that's the one. If it somehow moved outward (so that it engages sooner) it may be moved around by the brake lever vibrating. I had a similar problem with my brake lights after my bar swap. The engine vibrations were moving the lever enough to jiggle the switch and cause my brake lights to flicker. A bump in the road would cause the cruise control to disengage.

looks as if the lower torx head screww fell out. the switch housing was a little loose. went to the true value store and picked up some #10x24 chrome screws and replaced them all. rode 10 miles no problem yet..

you da man TRAIN
